GMS SLR brake discs (378mm BBK / 360mm, 350mm)

GMS SLR Brake disc for Alfa Romeo Giulia and Stelvio Quadrifoglio are available in front as BBK (Big brake kit) 378mm x 32mm or standard 360mm x 32mm, and in rear as 350mm x 28mm. GMS SLR Brake discs feature true, fully floating design, which means that aluminum bells are not directly connected to the brake disc rotors as they commonly are. Instead, they slide within the bobbin grooves, making them much more capable of withstanding extreme thermal expansion without getting warped.

IMPORTANT INFO

GMS SLR brake discs for Alfa Romeo Giulia / Stelvio Quadrifoglio is race proven and cup wining product, designed to withstand extreme situations, but we suggest the use of higher grade brake pads (Winmax W6, Ferodo DS3.12, Endless N39S, PFC Compound 13 or similar) to prevent brake deposit accumulation on the rotors
Giulia Quadrifoglio is a heavy car, so regardless of the brake discs and brake pads, the car still requires careful tracking and temperature management of the brakes. We suggest no more than 2-3 quick laps, followed by a cooldown session to manage the brake temps and prevent disc warping and potential melting of caliper's piston dust boots
J-hook surface provides superb de-dusting and heat dissipation capabilities at the cost of slightly higher NVH compared to plain discs
Minor / light vibrations and resonations are to be tolerated due to the design of the disc (fully floating, J-hook disc surface). Intensity of vibrations and resonations, speed range and brake pressure range in where NVH occurs, mostly depends of the brake pads

Discs feature J-hook grooved braking surface, providing significantly improved de-dusting capabilities and cracking resistance compared to OEM and aftermarket drilled discs. The brake disc ring casting is a high content carbon, heat treated alloy, with low expansion properties under heat stress to provide least possible thermal expansions during its operation. Each GMS SLR disc is also dynamically weight balanced to prevent potential vibrations at high speed.

Discs sizes allow to still fit 18'' wheels which makes a perfect track setup. We also didn't forget about the weigh and even though there is a significant improvement in braking performance over OEM brakes, the weight is only 9640g for front disc vs. 10414g OEM and 8490g for the rear disc vs. 8718g OEM. That's roughly 4kg of unsprung weight reduction on all four wheels combined.

As the disc wear on the track, especially on a heavy car like Giulia and Stelvio Quadrifoglio is significant, the brakes have to be overhauled or replaced often, so GMS SLR brake disc rotors are also available as a replacement part which saves the cost of replacing entire brake discs, as only brake disc rotors can be replaced instead.

If you are looking for high-end brakes upgrade system for your Giulia or Stelvio Quadrifoglio, look no further.

This system fits to Alfa Romeo Giulia and Stelvio Quadrifoglio cars with OEM steel brakes calipers.

Compatible with 18” wheels.

Fabricated according to ISO/TS 16949:2009 standard in conjunction with ISO 9001:2008. It defines the quality management system requirements for the design and development, production and, when relevant, installation and service of automotive-related products.
