Rear knuckle uniballs on Alfa Romeo Giulia are one of the most common to develop play. Reason for this is that any forces from road bumps and impact to the wheels are directly vertically transferred to the knuckle uniball then. This causes the inner sliding medium to deform and uniball to develop play leading to knocking or squeaking soudn on the rear axle and poor handling precision.
